Super Mario World on GBA was miles better than NSMB - I found the levels uninspired.

M&L-SS miles better than M&L-PIT - Humor was just better in M&L-SS and Cackletta - female kefka

Final Fantasys were better on GBA - FFIII DS and FFIV DS played a lot slower

Metroid Fusion/Zero Mission - Heaps better than the uncontrollable MPH - Yes I didn't like the controls

Zelda Minish Cap - Better than Z-PH - Touch screen controls for the entire game is just annoying. Story wasn't that good either. Too repetitive.

Overall - I hate that the DS churns out too many kiddy games (Wii is no better for single players)

I would have to say that played on a flash cart, the Boktai games were better on the whole than Lunar Knights IMO just because they did a better job with the stealth elements and I prefered the pile driver to the half ass shump sequences. But on a cart the games blew because of that stupid sun sensor gimick. I dont think I can even think of another otherwise awesome game*s* that got drug down so much because of something tacked on and detracting to the overall experience.

But with a patch and the sun mimiced they play a little better. And I enjoyed Lunar Knights, so thats a pretty high compliment.

And the Wario Ware games in general (Twisted in particular) bested the DS version.

First of all, no it's not, the story/items/levels/characters(baby bowser) are different.

And to whoever said Superstar Saga was better than PiT: 5th'd!

I was a bit disappointed with PiT

I loved Superstar Saga

Sonic on GBA was pretty good I felt. I haven't been able to bring myself to risk Sonic on DS. IT might ruin the franchise for me.

Risk it

Metroid ZM and F are by far better than Hunters. But I think Hunters was never meant to be a fill SP-experience...

so: Metroid GBA>Metroid DS

But Dread would kick ass...

@Joe88: Basic concept of all platform Mario games is the same!!

But, I know what you mean, and yes, it is somehow remake of the NES but, with all those extra stuff added..
And, I liked NSMB, even more than some of GBA versions (what can I say, new graphics really impressed me!!)

phoenix wright was better on gba.................. joking

well metroids on gba were better than hunters, mostly due to better gameplay.

zelda on gba i liked as much as phantom hourglass. i loved both about the same.

final fantasy 3 for ds sucked compared to ff1&2 dawn of souls. i simply don't like job system

castlevania was better on ds tho. (circle of the moon, harmony of dissonance, aria of sorrow vs portrait of ruin and dawn of sorrow)

marios on gba.. i dunno, yeah well super mario world is better than new super mario brothers

pokemon ruby and saphire was better than diamond and pearl
i mean diamond and pearl were awesome...but yet too short
the best pokemon games were gold and silver now those games were long especiallty for pokemon

metroid fusion and zero mission..were better than hunters
i didnt like hunters because of the hideous graphics.....wish the ds had a little bit better graphics
but for the wii...metroid prime corruption was amazing...out of subject sorry

Not quite how I can go 'better' with it but V-Rally 3 spanks the crap out of any arcade/semi-reality rally racer. I'll also (and it's a good game, just not very inspired to keep you doing it all at one time) agree that NewSMB(SMB5) has nothing on the last 4 the GBA has.

Hmm, if you're Japanese, then the GBA style Phoenix Wright investigation looked nicer. It was a few tabs in the corner, which was nice and saved space.

But yeah, if you're not then DS. By far.

(Also, GBA doesn't have Apollo Justice. So it fails.)

Final Fantasy Tactics Advance was way better on the GBA SP. You only needed one hand to play it!
Cramps guaranteed.
I haven't played FFTA2 yet (waiting for english release...), but I loved FFTA on the GBA...Is there anything else besides the controls that's better in the GBA version?

All Dragon Ball/Z/GT games
Omfg I loved Advanced Adventure, the The Legacy of Goku serie (including GT part) and Supersonic Warriors I played to death.

F-Zero...
Well.. not really fair.. Since we got none on the DS!!

Kirby
GBA ones felt way better to me.

Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga
You know why...

Mario Tennis
Mario Tennis > Mario Slam Basketball
No offense, I enjoyed Slam Basketball a lot! but Tennis just a bit more!

Mega Man Battle Network
GBA gave us 6 great games of this. And even MegaMan & Bass!

Mega Man Zero
Zero > ZX. ZX ain't bad! But it lacks something... I think it's Zero
tongue.gif

Metroid Fusion
2D Metroid > Hunters, lets hope for a Dread...

Sword of Mana
Sword of Mana is clearly better than both those Mana peace of crap we got on the DS.

Maybe I even forgot some stuff
