Hey all

I've started using a DSOne SDHC a little while ago. It automatically boots into the flashcart when the system is turned on, which means I can't access the functions on the regular DS menu while the flashcart is inserted. I abated this somewhat by switching to the game in my GBA slot using gbaswitch.nds, which I can just boot like it is a normal game from the flashcart menu. I was wondering if a similar script exists to enter the DS system settings? That way I would have acces to every functionality of the regular system menu i want from my flashcart menu.

There's a couple ways of doing that. First involves dumping firmware and converting it to NDS file:

https://gbatemp.net/threads/release-fw2nds-build-firmware-nds-from-firmware-bin.508831/

https://github.com/noceb0/fwrun (compiled build for this isn't available though)

You can dump the firmware required to use these options with this:

https://github.com/DS-Homebrew/dsbf_dump

Then just boot the firmware.nds file via your flashcart's loader (or boot fwrun if you managed to compile that) and you can access settings that way. Note that Wifi settings is not part of DS firmware so you can't access Wifi settings in this manner.

For wifi settings the best route is to dump the Wifi settings SRL from a 3DS and run that on your flashcart.

You can find a firmware.nds file by just googling as well but might well do it the legal way if you can. :P
