Gaming Games for Mothers?

How about something with crosswords, wordsearches, sudoku, the sims 3, nintendogs, mario n sonic at the olympics/winter olympics, all touch screen, i think!

She's not all for slow games OR fast games. Quickspot isn't her forte. She doesn't even like Zelda. She doesn't seem to like tower defense games or games like Mario vs Donkey Kong. I think I'll try getting her Big Bang Mini. She showed a little interest in that one when I described the concept.

A bunch of people will now say nes emu.

You need to convince her the buttons are worth it, I'm sure she'd have a fantastic time if she used them.

Does she even like video games?
She liked the Nintendo Entertainment System....

But I don't know. She got it because of the commercials and the fact that I mentioned once how I was having fun with the DS.

Then you should take my suggestion. While the NES was a great system, it was FULL of shovelware, and likely she played and enjoyed shovelware, I imagine she's not much a gamer to dislike it.

Probably, but she said she doesn't like games that use buttons.

Art Academy? It's all touchscreen and drawing/painting the art. Best to do it on DSi XL but I think they still be okay on smaller DS's to play with.

Ivy the Kiwi.
Almost no text, seriously, you could give her the Japanese version if you wanted. All touch controls, and a very pleasing aesthetic!

Well, I've tried it and it's very much like Kirby Canvas Curse, meaning it's much too fast paced.

If she doesn't like Cooking Mama, I would say just give up. Everyone likes Cooking Mama.

I even know a big burly biker man that likes Cooking Mama.

My mother is not a fan of playing games on a DS what could be played on a Television.

QUOTE(haflore @ Apr 27 2011, 05:52 PM) Damn... how about Clubhouse Games? That's a safe enough purchase for any DS owner.
No, as my mother does not like any of the things featured in the game.

Dude, your mom is damn picky.

Get her art academy, that is the only non-button, non-reading, DS game I can think of.

I shall repeat, too.

My mother does not like drawing in any way, shape, or form. Nor would she like Cooking Mama. Every time I mention even the name Cooking Mama, she tells me she cooks enough in a day and is already a mother, so why would she want to pretend to do all of that?
