Hacking Game (Wii) disc not recognized

Ok, I have a backup of RB:TB which works just fine on 1 set out 2 which has the same IOSes, firmware.. cioscorp...

The other one just refuses to recognize the disc and always reports "a disc error has occured" or "?" when I access the disc channel while it's trying to load...

Any idea?

is the system that wont read the disc one of the new wii's with the drives that wont read any burnt media?

No, out of a batch of discs I tried. Only that one didn't work.

well something has to be going on with the system menu IOS

are you positive their on the exact same firmware and IOS's?

Yes, same firmware & same version of cioscorp. Even the installed version of cios249 is identical.

It seems that it just doesn't like the disc as it's not been recognized. I tried GH5 and it works fine..

it has to be the drive set then.
do you know what drive types are inside?

No idea on that... anyway, it's not such a big deal... I'll just try to burn another one and see
