PS1/2 game sir sata adaptor for ps2 troubleshooting

I recently bought a game sir sata adapter on aliexpress. it seems to work and i formatted the 500gb hdd I put in it no problem but since it has no network port I guess i have to actually load the hdd into my pc to move games. my problem is it's not showing up except in crystal disk so do I need to use a specific program to move the games or what?

also does anyone have an elf for HD loader (not opl) so i can backup my disks to this hard drive?

That is normal and should be no Problem.

A very nice Tool for Windows (needs Java Runtime) is HDL Dump Helper GUI.



You can coose the ISO Transfer from HDD (or if you have the SONY Adapter,over Network).

- Connect your HDD to the PC please.
- Start the "HDL Dump Helper GUI" please.
- Choose "Local HDD" your PlayStation 2 HDD (it is there to choose,for sure).
- You can install from an ISO File or directly from an PlayStation 2 Disc (CD and DVD)
- Choose "Install" please

That´s it.

With the "Add to Jobs" Option you can install multiple ISOs.

I do not use the HD Loader but you can use the WayBack Machine,it has "saved" the SKSApps Pages.
There is everything you need.If not maybe psx-place or ps2-home maybe have it.

i ended up finding out winhiip needed to be in administrator mode and that was my problem. I'll look into this one though since it looks to have a nicer gui. thanks a bunch!

You might also look into HDL BATCH. You will need to format the drive using uLaunchELF though.
