If you write a gba rom from a zip file, real time saving still does not work

I wonder what the break-down in terms of sales for the G6 lite on where the units have been sold? (or for that matter for all of the flash cartridge solutions released for the ds).

with the last few fixes, it seems that the manufacturers have gone back to supporting their only chinese sites with updates and are leaving out the rest of the world with their english countersites. www.g6flash.com never saw a v4.3a update and now we're still waiting for v4.4

did anyone get the daigasso band brothers extension to work? i wrote both the gba and the nds rom and when selecting gba linkage i got the message "gba rom found" (although there was no gba game listed below...). starting daigasso worked fine but the linkage didn't work... no new songs available...

Did you go through "My Card" to actually load up the GBA file?

Inside the "Linkage" tab, Check "NDS/GBA Linkage enable" and if you have the .gba game in the same directory
of the .nds file, a new box with the game name will appear, i clicked on this so it was highlighted, then i choose ok to write.

wait, you wrote the GBA game to the NDS directory? so you mean, you just copied it manually WITHOUT the g6 manager?

You can still use the manager, be sure to press X in the My Card browser

Added Kirby info, so it did recognize it, didn't seem to unlock anything, but i cant be sure as i didn't understand the game *g*

You know how to edit the exe file?

Well with Kirby it's supposed to unlock something at the end of the game but also it should unlock this other feature immediately: Under the medal trading section in the main menu if you scroll to the bottom there should be an unlocked item called Nightmare in Dreamland music that would normally cost 50 medals. Maybe you can try again and see if this shows up? Thanks.

I think your confusion is that in his instructions he said put the two roms in the same folder but he meant on your computer before transferring.

Just curious...

When I'm about to uploading Harvest Moon DS and Cooking Mama roms (While remain zipped),
the manager flashing msg box "Write OK" , is this usual happen in G6 Manager?
or do you guys unzipped the package and upload *.nds files manually?

yes, "my card" - gba linkage via pressing X, than back to the nds menu and starting daigasso...
did you get it to work?

I wasent able to get my advance wars DS to work with the link up, i get the message that says the file is linkable with gba AW1 and so.. but when i load the gba rom with x and then go back to nds game to play i get nothing to buy from the shop.. am i supposed to set some special options?
can someone specify what he does exactly and what rom files he uses? i'm using the save file i got out of my original AW: DS

shinshoku:
I have actually have this happened before. However, I noticed that it only happens when the ROM file contains numbers in the name.

ex. 0553-lego_star_wars.nds
I would edit the name to be lego_star_wars.nds

Give that a try if your rom contains numbers in it.

Note: By edit the name of the .zip file will not edit the name of the .nds file. You would need to extract the .nds file and edit it separately.

anyone gotten the linkage function to work for MMZX with MMZ3 or MMZ4? Everytime I check the linkage box it just says no games support linking games found.

Also, try only having the .nds file in the zip. Remove all the other files like nfo's.

If there is please someone who can look into this, ive been waiting quite awhile and done other trials to get the content from AW1(already unlocked content with a real copy of AW2)

If anyone is having white screens on armor changes like I was, just use safe mode. Although I lost my saves when I forgot to back them up
