The original cartridge game is hard to find and mostly expensive. You can also do it with a flashcard which supports 3DS games and 10.7.

Do you have menuhax? Try uninstalling by changing the theme and then try to boot with SD.

Yes, i'm doing the hardmode right now. dumping seems to work well, we'll see for restoring
Fingers crossed lol

EDIT: Yes !! Successfully restored !

Now i need to start again.

But is there a way to be sure it won't brick again after 2.1 downgrade ?

Let me just say thank you for this wonderful and thorough guide.

Everything worked like a charm the first try. I am now the proud father of an O3DS with Arm9LoaderHax.

Let me just ask a stupid noob question if I may: is this essentially patch proof from future updates?

I finished the tutorial, but I still have an emuNAND (I followed the old one).

How would I go to keeping only the sysNAND with arm9loaderhax? Should I just rename my emuNAND.bin to NAND.bin and boot to sysNAND (holding R) and simply use the arm9loaderhax.3dsx?

I'm afraid to end up with a updated sysNAND and no a9lhax.

If everything's already on your sysNAND, you can delete your emuNAND from your SD card. (Just make sure to backup your files first).
If not, then yes, rename emuNAND.bin to NAND.bin and place it on the root of your SD card.

Also, use L, not R. As R would use the 10.X FIRM (which would not allow you to run the A9LH installer).

Yeah, they aren't on my sysNAND. And good to know that I need to use L instead of R.

Can you help me with something else? I wanted to boot Uncart using L + R + A, but when I try that it goes to Decrypt9. Can't I use A? (X and B works perfectly)
