I agree, way too many swordfighters. They all play almost exactly the same... I'm so bored of them.
I like Sora though, and KH has a lot of fans, so I can see why they did it. But there are so many other choices that would've also been good.

Don’t really care for this game much anymore but it’s kind of sad the last character, if this is truly the last character isn’t even a nintendo character. Third party characters shouldn’t be part of a smash game. I know the wii started that trend but the wii didn’t over do it.

Technically Nintendo didn't own Intelligent Systems when Marth was made. Nintendo also doesn't own The Pokemon Company, which I think is Second Party maybe...? They own a portion of it.
Did you really expect the last character to be Nintendo though? this is really all basic marketing. By having Sora in Smash and Kingdom Hearts dropping in Switch, it's not a half bad business move. It'll draw people to Kingdom Hearts, while still giving Nintendo revenue.
Considering the fact that more than half of the roster is First Party, overdoing it is still subjective here.
What are you gonna do though? Not buy the character? Luckily Nintendo provides an exquisite base game for you to play, to where you are at no disadvantage.
Also, Sakurai said there will be no more DLC fighters for Ultimate.
There will be another Smash game, and with another Smash game comes another chance at getting what you want in-game. Be thankful it wasn't some terrible character like Jonesy or (insert League of Legends character here). It's a high note to end on (and it was predicted by a modder!)

I mean, I get you are angry. There's no gonna be another game like SSBU. The chances of seeing other important characters being part of a roster like this one... I think we all know that's not gonna happen again.
The franchise has grown so much, nowadays being part of a SSB is not just a recognition and an honor, but an important popularity and sales booster as well (not in vain SSBU is already the most sold fighting game of all time). So many iconic characters were and still are worthy of joining, arguably more than some that already are part of the cast, and even some that has been around for many games.

All that said, that's just how things are. You should learn to get over it when things are not just the way you want them to be, you will avoid a ton of problems in life.
Besides, saying "this character is bad, put this one instead" is simply saying that your opinion is more valueable that the others simply because you don't like this and do like that. That's equally immature and selfish.
Yes, I've seen lots of people really pissed with each new announcement, just like you. But at the same time, I've seen way more people screaming in joy, jumping and even crying of happiness because of this game.
You should learn to respect other's emotions and feelings as well.
And if you find the whole game is trash just cause one or two characters aren't there, then you just simply play something else.

Me? I was expecting for other characters, and don't like Sora at all since I only played two KH games in my 30 years of life. Was I f****** pissed? Not at all, I was honestly surprised and happy for those who were expecting this moment for years.
When the first Fighters Pass was announced, I bought it instantly, not even imaginig who may join the fight. When Joker was announced, I learned it was imposible to predic the rest of the newcomers, so I relaxed and just went with the flow, enjoying every new addition regardless of my personal preferences. It was the best decision.
After all, this game is a celebration of the videogame industry and its history. Try to look at it as what it is, a game, and you will find it's not that bad. Cheers!
