Hacking Format only a partition of the hdd to become compatible with the wii u?

Is that even possible or would there be a work Arround? I have a 1tb hdd and I don't want to waste all of it on my wiiu...

I figured maybe now that the iosu and the keys are out it should be possible , and i've never seen a thread about it , nor did the google research bring up any result.

you mean one usb hard drive only? also cant you connect a usb hub to the wiiu
