Homebrew Forced to update? BrowserHax exploit.

I am currently on Version 9.9.0-26U and previously have used Tubehax to enter homebrew app. To be clear I stepped away from the Homebrew scene for about 2 months to see how it'd develop when I came back. Anyways, Tubehax now says I have to update the application. So I did some research and Browserhax is the next exploit for those who haven't updated. However, when I try to used the exploit, it says I have to perform a system update. I really want to use homebrew as Emulators seem much better since I left. What should I do? Still avoid updating for now, right?

I don't completely understand, but I think this means the browserhax route is now closed.
100pcrack's alternate routes to homebrew should work.

For OoT3D you need Powersaves or acess to a friend's Homebrew Launcher.
For SmashBroshax you need a PC with Linux.
Sky3ds works with all the haxes.
All work in latest version besides browserhax.

I need access to a friend's HL? This all sounds confusing. Guess I'll just wait it out for an easier method.

You launch HBL in a friends console.
You install the Hax for your FW from that. You open your 3ds and launch OoT3D.
You acess HBL!!

yes but it needs correct payload save on the oot cart for is version and region of his 3ds

You might be able to install Linux in a Virtual Machine and try from there
