Hacking Flashing a PhatDS help!

I have read the tutorial on how to Flash the DSLite, but theres no mention of a PHAT ds, under the battery cover of the PhatDS there is no immediate sign of the SL1 slot!!!!!
Thee is a small hole with a "warranty" like seal , iam assuming this is it?????
Also does the PHAT DS suffer from the same fate as a DSlite if u bridge teh SL1 with VR..........or is just on the DSLites???

i have seen a tutorial vid and guy just seems to stick a nail without worrying about bricking teh PHatTDS..

any tis help on doing a Phat DS would be great!!!

The little sticker tpye thing covers the SL1 hole, just take it off and jam something in there when flashing (I used an allen key myself), since the original ds is bigger, there's more space on the board, thus there isn't any part of a VR circuit leaking into the sl1 hole.
