More info regarding the update features from Neogaf

- "Join the playing software" button in the bottom screen

- Quick scrolling through friend list when long pressing Left or Right (analog or digital)
- Friends that online will move to the front of queue automatically

is this update mandatory to play super mario 3d land?
is there 1 update ? or 2 ?
is there an update on wifi only or only on the mario game card, or both?
if there are 2 are they the same? and do both of them block flashcards? or just the wifi one,or just the one on the mario game card?
this still leaves many questions unanswered,
the update was rumored to be coming nov 4th ,but in either jap or eur not us, with the us one to be released after i think

but then what happened to the 3d video recording update? supposedly the update on the smb3dl card does not add that, and if there is only 1 update ,and the update for download and the one on smb3dl is the same one that is for download and it dont add the 3d video recording then ,that must mean there is another update ?

and then if there are 2 update, 1 on the smb3dl card that dont update the 3d video recording

and another one you download that does add it , then does that mean that each one of those update will have a different ap patch in them? so if the card teams fix the one on the smb3dl card that blocks flashcarts ,then they will have to fix another flashcard block for the ap included in the update that adds the 3d video recording too?

As far as I remember, I've read that the video recording was gonna get added to the Photo app of the 3DS.

Pong, you should write about the Internet Browser version in each firmware version, because we can detect if the browser is updated in each firmware or not.

There aren't too much differences, but the browser now runs smoother than before.

Firmware 2.0.0.3 -> Internet Browser 1.7412 (i'm not sure if 2.1.0-3 added this version or 2.0.0.3).
Firmware 2.1.0-4 -> Internet Browser 1.7455

For what it's worth iEvolution (in DSi Mode) works on (Super Mario 3D Land) System Menu 2.2.0-4 US update. (I would believe it works on the EU update as well but I only have a US 3DS)

wow i didnt know end of november was on december 8th lol so typical of nintendo but i guess i can understand they would want to make sure it perfect for us

2.2.0-4 had a secret to it
changed encryption for the SRAM images so newer games load differently to others
Think Nintendo patched a hole
