Hi, I recently got a Wii and the system menu shows it's 3.3U, I was able to get the undubbed Tales of Symphonia 2 running using Gamma Loader, and the author says it uses trucha bug. From what I understand this means I have 3.3v1, but is there any other more definitive way to check whether it's v1 or v2?

If I do have 3.3v1, are there any important benefit that 3.2 has over 3.3v1 other than being able to use Starfall? I don't have internet connection to Wii so can't downgrade... Thanks.

you can check by trying to access the shop channel, if you cant its probably v1

and there is no need to downgrade from v21 unless you want softmii or starfall.

I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    nope
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:

@Xdqwerty you can use a "spawner" function on any object.

Or when your player dies, you can say in code, if enemy exists, do nothing, but if enemy does not exist, then create enemy at certain spot. (This would be a pain tho for lots of emeies)

Easiest, simple way would be just restart scene, but player would restart from beginning.
