Whenever I open USB Loader GX, most of the time it works fine at first, but eventually after staying on the game selection menu for a little bit/scrolling through my games, the icons will stop loading. Clicking on any of them will cause USB Loader GX to stop accepting my inputs, but the cursor will still be controllable and some UI elements will still react. The only way to get out of this state is to hold the power button down on the Wii for several seconds. This also happens occasionally in the settings menu as well. Attached is an image of what ends up happening to the icons. They stay like this and don't load in no matter how long I wait. I've tried out and have been able to play some games, such as Mario Kart Wii, if I launch them before the issue starts.

USB Loader GX is updated to the most recent version, and I have tried reinstalling it multiple times. I am running it and the games off of a Toshiba 2tb Canvio Flex USB HDD. The drive is formatted to Fat32 32kb MBR. All of the games have been put on the drive using WiiBackupManager/GamecubeBackupManager.

I ran a syscheck, and this was the results:

Any input on what could be causing my issue is very apprecciated! I've been frantically looking all night for a solution to no avail > <

Seems like USB Loader GX being USB Loader GX.

Try CFG USB Loader instead, or, check wether or not you have a GPT boot sector instead of MBR.

I checked again and I definitely do have the drive as MBR. CFG Usb Loader seems to work, but I greatly prefer the look and feel of USB Loader GX (alongside me just being stubborn :ha:) so I'm gonna continue investigating the issue.

I think I've greatly narrowed down what the issue is though! I did a complete reinstall of USB Loader GX and all my games onto the HDD, and when I did everything worked! That is, until I downloaded the covers, artwork, and banners for the games. Once I did the issue immediately returned. I had a suspicion that it was a GC game causing the issue so I moved the GC games to a separate folder and the issue immediately went away. I'm gonna make an attempt in a bit to sort through my Gamecube games and see if a specific game is causing my issue.
