I know 110 Voice events is way overboard, but eh, whatever, I can just hit start as soon as their over.

As of now, I have Chrom, Cordelia and Morgan(male) down, planning on doing Morgan(female), Severa, Lucina, and then possibly fall asleep on my laptop.

Just replace every instance of MARC_M with whatever character you want to test and it should be good to go.

Well, it simply adds the lines under each other, so when there's 2 lines, it scrolls the text box, meaning you'll get something like this;

Line 1,
Line 2,
(textbox scrolls)
Line 3,
Line 4
(textbox scrolls)
etc.

Edit, the line itself isn't complete, you're supposed to add that after assigning the character and portrait of who you want to voice those, since I'm too lazy for that I just edit the voice events and let Chrom do all the talking.

FYI I just saw a MARC_F_EVT_98, so maybe 110 isn't actually overkill.

From 49 to 97 they're empty, 98 and 99 she says "Mother!", so I'll probably have to recheck Male Morgan, Chrom and Cordelia to make sure there aren't any more voice files after long skips of emptyness.
Also, are you sure that MARC_M_EVT_1 is "Mother"? Because I'm looking at the MaMorgan/Inigo Parent Support and that voice clip activates right before MaMorgan says "Father" in the text.

I bet it's like female morgan where it's all the way in the 90s.

Edit: Male Morgan actually never says Mother in any of his supports, I rechecked all of his lines up to 110, and even checked his support with FeMu and compared the events to what I have listed, and he actually never says Mother once, this is really bizarre to be quite honest.

Could you really? My solution was going to be to edit the .ctpk image they're contained on to gender neutral terms like "partner" and "parent," but I haven't been able to get recompressed ctpk's to work yet. What kind of guidance/info would you need? Because I'm probably pretty ignorant on the data formats as well.
If you told me the full path names of the image files, that'd be a huge start to understanding the disassembly. Also, showing me how to quickly test patches would help a lot.

My goal would be to reprogram the game to check the gender of the spouse rather than the gender of the character you're viewing.

In terms of the file paths for the images, the file we'd concentrate on here is romfs/ui/status_E.ctpk.lz
When I decompressed that file, it contained the images for the status screen (both a "full" and "simple" version") that included the words husband, wife, etc.

I'm afraid I'm not sure what you mean by allowing quick test patches. To test to see if an edit was successful, I always have to repack the romfs, load it up through hans, etc.

I really wish I had CFW so I could use NTR, having to rebuild the romfs every single time to test with HANS got real old real fast >_>

Ugh, Owain is just as weird as Lucina when it comes to references.

In Katakana, they're both Uudo (Owain) and Mars (Lucina)

But for Voice events, Owain uses EUDES (what???) and Lucina is MARTH.

At least keep some consistency IS <_<

I bet it's like female morgan where it's all the way in the 90s.

Edit: Male Morgan actually never says Mother in any of his supports, I rechecked all of his lines up to 110, and even checked his support with FeMu and compared the events to what I have listed, and he actually never says Mother once, this is really bizarre to be quite honest.
Wow, that is so weird. Bizzare.

Where could I find a decompressor for that .lz file?

Also, a save file would be nice, since I haven't played this game much at all.

So, using a script from reddit, I have fully implement a custom support between Anna and Gaius from C to A rank, if someone can confirm this file working that'd be nice.
I downloaded that, so I may try it later. I was also sort of wondering if someone would test this revised Chapter 11 script I made. I added in lines of dialogue to where the theoretically should be for a Chrom/MaMU Ch 11 S Rank convo, but I don't know if that's enough to putone in or we also need to play with code elsewhere.
