I’ve used the vc injector to install A Super Paper Mario wbfs file. The game works fine on startup but crashes when a save file is selected and the wii u makes a loud noise. I’ve tried to use a different wbfs with no luck

i just tested things out cause i had the same problem but i dont know if its because i got the rev 2 version or because i checked the dont trim game output(wii retail only) but piked both options and it started working for me

Same issue. Did you solve it?

I've never had any issues with Super Paper Mario, I transfer all my games with Wii Backup Manager, and used d2x with base IOS 56 IIRC. If you do both of those things and you're still having issues it could be a bad dump, try another source.

You need to have a full 4GB+ iso rip, unaltered. Then, when you want to inject it, it's important you disable the trim. I had the same issue before and the real unaltered, unconverted, untrimmed... solved it.

Hey thanks. So my Disable Trim option is grayed out. Any idea's why? Do I need the iso and not wsfb?

Correct, that's why I stated... It's very picky with Paper Mario. The file needs to be an iso file that never got trimmed and didn't come from some wbfs conversion. There's only 2 options really, rip the game or find a reliable iso...

This was the first game I injected and got real scared all games would just freeze randomly. Good thing this was a known issue
