That what i mean! look at the water in my video! ...it happens when 60fps is on...!
Match refresh or vsync don't improve the situation...the only solution is to set 61fps in the settings, but without vsync or match refresh...in that case, there is occasional image stuttering :(
i would love to play with with vsync
Once I added all my mods I settled on 32fps and vsync. It looks great. Is prefer 60, but I would need to drop my mods. Its a good compromise. Its definitely the refresh rate that causes it. its something to do with the games logic built to run at 20fps. The SOH interpolates frames to fake above 20fps only for 3d objects, animations, etc. but not things like water effects. The more frames past 20fps you go, the bigger the desynchronized the timing in the shimmer effect that was always there. But become more noticable at higher fps. vsync isnt the cause, its your fps setting. try 55fps, 50, 45, etc. until you find one that your happy with.

On another note: Has anyone here managed to get any of the reimagined or orchestrated soundtrack mods working on Ship of Harkinian for the switch? I had success with 2ship2harkinian but not ship of harkinian. Im just curious if this is a skill issue on my part. thanks in advance!

what mods are you using that run consistently at 32fps? i was trying to use djippis but hyrule field stutters like a mf

Make sure you set soh to "Maximum" performance under: Settings -> General -> Hardware -> "switch performance mode"
I have a ton of mods loaded personally, probably too many really but it runs well at 30+ fps. Under: Enhancements -> Graphics -> Draw Distance, I have mine at 1x-2x, then both or all three boxes checked below that slider until you find the sweet spot. Use the search box and find "LOD." Uncheck "Disable LOD" from the results that pop up. Are you overclocking? I run at 1963-2091mhz CPU, 921mhz gpu and 2400mhz RAM. The gpu doesnt seem to do much work though, so 768mhz is fine. I have 30+ mods, so thats taking up alot of the processing, but boy does it look sweet. I only wish I could get one of the orchestra music mods to work for me. The one for 2ship2harkinian sounds great. I cant believe it took me so long to dabble in SoH and 2ship2harkinian plus the mods. once you nail it, with the free camera on your right stick, gyro aiming and the ocarina playback on the d-pad for starters, things work so much better than they ever did on the n64. It gives the 3DS version a run for its money, I prefer SoH/2ship2harkinian over either 3ds remaster now. Note, I just added Fados equipment and a few others out of curiosity earlier, so I know I have some redundant mods there now. I learned you can drop folders that hold packs into the mods folder to keep things neater. Rather than just dumping o2r files in the mods folder. The only drawback is you need to make sure you dont have conflicts resting in other folders when testing new mods like I am showing today. Hope this helps!
