Outside of performance and graphics modes, these are all features already present in the original Switch version.

Switch 1 version and Switch 2 version saves are apparently not compatible and there is no upgrade to switch 2 if you own the existing definitive edition on switch 1.

The definitive version was also originally made for switch, and when they made that version, they also downgraded the graphics significantly (which was very sad to me because it looked absolutely beautiful on PS4/PC). This is that same switch 1 version, just running with better performance.

No upgrade for the S1 version is fucking BS. It's the same game but now in 60fps and higher resolution. Still, it's an amazing game. 120 hrs just flew by.
