Final Fantasy XIII is 50 to 60 Hours Long

i bet it will be longer than 60 hours if you add all the side quests to the total final fantasy 10 took me 250 hours to complete to unlock everything in the game.

Anyway, Final Fantasy, I couldn't care less. It's not what it used to be and is just mostly flair and fanboys.

I'm a generation behind so I'm reserving judgement until I've played FFXII. I hated most of FFX, but we shall see.

FF7-9 clocked in 35-40 hours each on the basic plotline before sidequests, so 50 for a game released 10 years later really doesnt surprise me.

If you run around in circles in fields, the game can last for 300 hours.

That's just so they don't auto level. (it was probably only in the directors cut) Grr now it's even harder to wait!

You know, I'm gonna play the shit out of this game only because it's a Final Fantasy game.
The design and story look and sound completely terrible (it is a JRPG after all), but I'm still going to enjoy it.

I actually managed to do over 100 hours on FFXII so I was surprised to see the 50-60 hour estimation (until I realised that it was for just the main quest). I believe I finished FFX in just under 60 hours. Of course I did most of the side quests (to get such times). (FFX had the better story, but I preferred XXII's battle system).
