Announced back in a September 2018 Nintendo Direct was that a handful of Final Fantasy games would be receiving a port to the Nintendo Switch. Three of those aforementioned games have been given their release date: Final Fantasy X HD, X-2 HD, and Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age. The first two are slated for release on April 16th, while XII will arrive slightly after, on April 30th. Additionally, these will all also be available to purchase on the Xbox One.

What features are those? I assume you are talking about the features the ps2 international edition had
The Vita version lacks the ability to use the old sound track, you don't get the boost cheats, and you don't get the auto battle and fast forward option. Fast forward option is the one I care about most, because it makes grinding random battle games a bit more tolerable. I'm pretty sure the Switch version will get all the new features the PC/PS4 version got.

Thus, the Vita version is inferior Imo.

The new soundtrack is utter trash.

Pretty sure it'll be the case, no way would it get the inferior version.
Pretty much my thoughts. If the Switch gets the PS4/PC version, it'd be the superior portable version. The Vita lacks a lot of features(fast forward being the main one), and dooms you with the new sound track.

I said nothing has been revealed for 2019, there hasn't been any new new info since fall 2018, why did you link this? I already read this. GungHo has nothing new on their Twitter or Facebook page, there hasn't been info in five months. Did you read what I said?
You missed my point. It's something I'm excited for, and a reason I may finally get a switch.

I love Grandia very much, really I do. Played it often enough in my childhood.
Sadly dont expect anything polished from gungho.
The steam port is messed up. It crashes every 20min while changing maps and it has z buffer issues
In cutscenes. Even cutscenes glitch out where animations won't work. After mothy of complaining nothing was fixed. You dont want to play such a port o a switch...

@SylverReZ, I also heard one of the Prince of Persia games was so unfinished that it required the "24/7 online" drm so a puzzle could be done and the game could be finished. And that when the Ubisoft servers were closed the (cracked) game was impossible to finish or something like that
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, That's extra scummy. Ubisoft nowadays ship out incomplete games like Skull and Bones which was being worked on for nearly a decade now.

I like that games can be fixed after the fact, hate that it's being abused via beta tests... And DLC... I was a 7800 owner back in the day and loved Impossible Mission, turns out I couldn't beat it because it was actually impossible lol

I never knew about it at the time but a fixed version was available but you had to mail in your broken copy lol
