Gaming Final Fantasy 12 Revenant Wings

Since I have completed Final Fantasy III (DS), I am thinking of giving this a go, question is do I need to have played FF12 on the PS2 before playing this, in terms of story etc...

Although it will most likely contains some spoilers and returning characters, you probably don't need to.
But if you want to play ff12 without spoilers then you should play that first before coming to this.

I haven't played FF12, and the story makes sense to me. As long as you don't intend to play the PS2 game, then by all means go ahead and play this one. It's a pretty fun game.

No need to play FF XII for the PS2. Doesn't really matter which order you play them as the story for FF XII:RW doesn't need the story for FF XII. When characters are introduced you'll get a "oh wow, long time no see" type of reaction. That's about it.

I'll be playing FF XII this summer, so you won't be the only one playing FF XII RW before FF XII.

Game is fun but not as mush as I thought. Kind of made me hate final fantasy....Exept for crisis core..wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo crisis core

I never played Final Fantasy 12 and I understood this just fine.

When it comes to playing it it got very repetitive after a while
