@hisiru
left4dead 2 is really good and there was that sale on steam....yesterday? it was like 33% off which made me mad

cuz i preordered it

I was saving money to buy L4D 2 and GTA:Ballad Of Gay Tony (x360) but I bought Batman:AA thanks to "one day deal" on steam. Great game and excellent deal! It was cheap as hell.

Thanks for the advice, I will check this out.

This game is tough, it seems. Learn to dodge early.

I have to fight 4 red Orcs and they kick my butt quick. I ran into a room that has a Beholder in it, he shoots me twice and I'm dead. I've grinded as far as level 13 so far, but they beat me like a sick dog.

Yay! Thanks for the mini review Rayder! I'm quite excited because I thought the game wouldn't be as great as we expected, but now it seems just as awesome, if not more!

Very relieved to hear the controls aren't broken. Actually, it's pretty awesome that they give both the option to use the face buttons or touch screen to control the view. That's something I know a lot of FPS fans have been asking for. I personally prefer using the stylus, but it's nice to know there are options. Can't wait to dig into the game.

EDIT: Just a quick heads up: The developer is answering questions over on GameFAQs in a sort of open-discussion thread on the game's respective board. If you've got anything you want to ask, head on over there.

Also, does anyone know how to get through the locked-chest mini-game? I keep dying. There just isn't enough time to hit all of those little thingies and make it even close to the finish area.

You will need a skill called "disarm".

I seem to be stuck in the game.......

1) I'm supposed to find mushrooms in the caves for a dude named "peon" who is in the "Chieftains Room"....I wandered around the caves forever and can find no mushrooms anywhere. Where be the mushrooms?

2) There is a goblin blocking a doorway in the "outer ring room" that says I must fight him, but says I'm too weak to face him......this is the main quest too. It's where the little green dot on my map is pointing.

3) Some monk wants some toadstool. I don't know where either the monk is anymore, nor can I find any toadstool.

4) There's an armory in the outer ring room with some super tough.....monsters of some sort that I can't beat.

I've been circling the maps for hours trying to find a solution to those 4 things. It seems I can't progress any farther without solving at least a couple of those tasks.

I'm currently a level 24 warrior with special powers "Berserk" and "regeneration".

We may need a help thread for this game.....

Anyone have any ideas?

In the caves (Rat Cave) there's a passage a next to a pit. Go through and inside will be a few spiders, kill them and proceed to the next area. Now you'll be at a fountain, ignore it and head through the door straight ahead and on the right will be the mushrooms.

Peon will tell you after you get him the items he asks for.

Regeneration is AWESOME. After grinding a bit, many of the monsters pretty much don't do any damage because my regeneration rate is greater than their damaging rate. Teehee.

I really want to use more abilities though. I wanted to raise my "disarm" but I only have so many slots and I wanted those for like magics and other fighting abilities :[

The monk requesting toadstools is the first you met in the village temple (next to the first save orb).

Where is this "Rat Cave"? The only cave I see is "The Cave". I've never seen any spiders......

Starting from the Ring Square go into the Main Corridor then down the stairs into the Gambler's Den. At the back of the room is the cave entrance.

Ahh! Thanks. Thought I looked everywhere already.....apparently not. I found this place now. Actually, there are two doors in that room I haven't checked out, but one I can't get to. I'm in the area with the spiders now.

EDIT: Any clue where the toadstool is. (I mean besides a toad's toilet, heh)

first skill to master = veteran quicker levels
i love rps with skills like that.
my mage was killing it but i got bored and wanted to make a hand to hand combat guy so
i made a rouge kiill everyone with a simple back forward punch back forward punch tactic
gbasp.gif
is there anyway out of the cave once you get in???

2 questions:

1.Where do i get a new dagger after the rusty one? from the stores i've checked out on the first 2 levels, i don't think i've seen any other daggers for sale

2.How do you get more slots for skill? leveling up?

1. You can get new weapons from monster drops and treasure chests as well. After you advance a bit, you will come upon more stores that have upgraded weapons so you can get new weapons (or just a dagger if you want).

2. Yep, by level 22 (for me) I had 4 slots.
