Must be you because I have tried two different saves with the new patch and they both work.
 
patching can't alter saving.

this new bug are nasty to fix, I know where are the faulty strings, so I could disable the translation for the moment, but to fix it I have to debug a lot more. I'm stuck with ideas because the no$gba writer has not responded to my 5 or so emails I've sent him, I've paid for the debugger, but either this guy is slow on email checking or he is dead...
 
Hidan are you using the lastest patch because I just tried silence and it did not freeze after it had gone away.
 
When applying new patch you'll have to use the original rom to patch. Every new release is its own. You can't patch a rom that has been once patched.
 
I've found the bug, the real one. I'm fixing it, and I will make a bugfix release for the bugfix release...
 
I've made a new release on the wiki 0.2.4 with the bug removed.
 
status changing bug (haste disipates, poison etc) doesnt affect me it hangs for a sec but the game still goes on.
the bugs that im experiencing is quests bugs like "love lunch quest".

Just tried it now Reilina, love lunch is fixed ^^
 
The bugfix should remove all those freezes. Reason behind the freezing was {0000} that created a new blank window with no text.
 
I have been following this project for a little while now and just so you guys know, I will let ya know if I encounter any bugs with each of the updates. I love FFTA and can't wait to play it in English so you guys are no doubt going to take half the time to do it. Anyway, cheers dudes

Found an incorrect kanji.

Here's the details:

Correct version is this:

冒険
ぼうけん

In the tables it's showing up as {0280}験

So we just need to change 験 to 険

This is in Table_046d97d8.txt

I will be on the look out for any bug.

On a side note, the resulting file after enlargement process should be 116 111 148 bytes big. Tested it twice, got twice the same bytecount, so I assume this is correctly done.

I was taking a look at gamefaqs board, and regardless of all the childish posts, i noticed the splash-credits thing.
You say you didnt have time to make it, right?

I have some designing skills and if you want, just send me the files (of the 2 initial screens) and i will do a cool and polished version of it. I could do the same for the main menu on title screen as well.

Do you have any interest?
