Btw Isnt "Limit Glove" actually "Limit Growth"?
Wasnt that suposed to be a misstranslation in past FF?

I think engage should be kept, since its the trademark battle-word for the FFTA serie.
Even Luso's job command in PSP's FFT remake is called "Engage".
That would be changing the game's language style too much IMO...

Btw, no1 knows what means the ability ひっぺがす?
I think its the only one left for the player's abilities list

Well, if the the norm it should be kept, yeah, i'll undo the changes i made on the wiki regarding Engage->Battle

If it's a job command or something then it should be left as engage.... but if it's in a sentence like "Which allies will you take into this engage?", then it doesn't make sense.

Well, i guess i half-agree with that.

If you played the FFTA1, you must have noticed that they use engage normally whenever they are refering to any battle. Its a kind of popular nickname for any 2 party conflict in Ivalice at all.

- Random Bangaa: "Let's engage!"
- Marche: "...?"
- Random Bangaa draws sword.
- Marche: "Ahh i get it, engage means fight, right?"
- Montblanc: "You are surely a keen observer of the obvious, kupo."

(I love this dialog, lol)

Maybe let it be engage on the dialogs, but change it to battle only in examples like you said, system messages, skill description and such?

Personally, i think that it should be left on, since its a game specific thing.

Edit: Btw, why Thdr (instead of Thunder) while Blizzard is left normal?

Ah. I see. You made your point. Sorry, forgot about that. Haven't played FFTA for ages.

I changed that already on the item/ability table at the wiki, as well as some other pointless abbreviations.
I left a comment with my nick (er... lack of it, lol) on each name that i edited or added/translated, expliaining the reason for each.

Yup, but i also see sense in what you said in a way. Its just a matter of spoting in which context each thing apllies.
I mean, "engage" is an Ivalice common slang, so i just feel you should keep it at dialogs, and whenever its inside the context of the Ivalician culture (quests, item description, free paper, anything related to the game universe), but its not necessaray on system messages or when the interface is communicating with the players at all, since this calls for a more informative and acurate context then culture oriented language.

PSP's FFT is a good example. The game context is all in classical english, but the system communicates with the player with normal language.

should we report all of the glitch in the game
like when u do a quest and it gets stock?

What patch do you mean is it 0.2.2 or a newer one. Because it has not been fixed in 0.2.2

Ah i see, since it said it was fixed in the glitches page, i thought it was already fixed.
I'll wait for next release then

No news about a bugfix release yet? =(

@01torres,
Did you have time to test if those changes stoped the crashes or is it still bugged even so?
