deufeufeu, i apologize if posts like these clog your forums but I can't understand a couple things ><

Uh well i had a successful (at least i think) patch up, but when i boot it up, everything's still in japanese ... am i doing something wrong? I downloaded the rom from another site, put it on the enlarger, then used ppf-o-matic3. I had no errors, and when i turn the DS on, i even see the intro you had put on it. But after that everything seems to be in jap.

And secondly, i checked pretty thoroughly and i don't know how to use your dev snaps ...

Turns out it was just patch 6.0 and i didn't read it right, so i expected the story text to be translated.

Anyways, uhm DFF can i make a serious suggestion? Take ZlleH's guide on page 37, give him credits, and paste it on your wiki. I guarantee you a lot of people who doesn't fully understand this stuff (like moi) will be able to do it and save the number of repetitive questions related to open source.

Sarcasm is hard for to read in text. Not my fault that searches didn't turn up any useful info. 39 pages of post is a lot to read.
What would help, is some kind of FAQ or something on the wiki site which I found first.

Ok problem, i patched the rom with 0.6.8a and i got the 110 mb rom file.

I booted it onto my DSTT and it doesn't work... It just shows a blank white screen

yet the other patches work....WHYYYYY

Problem here although mentioned a lot of times maybe (freakin 40 pages)

I patched my ROM with the 0.6.8a editor,but keeps freezing at the point after green mage quest
Stopped playing for now,scared later rushing other quest will end up with same problems
Now should i use the other patches to patch the game?

I read that the 0.6 editor is quite stable, and the 0.2.4 patch is also stable,but i want to read most
of the story also.I know i am asking a lot,however isn't everyone doing the same?

So now i'm asking which patch i should use for a stable game?

EDIT:Ok playing in jap now but i still hope a more stable version
of the patch comes out lucky that i have a friend that can help
me with the text =D

I previously had patch 2.4. It had an intro, the stat names(attack, evade etc) were translated and at the beginning options like new game and load game were english.
Now I have 6.0 editor patch, the above mentioned have disappeared. Back to jap. Other stuff is translated, but I would prefer if you can fix this.

as it was previously stated to have graphic translation just prepatch with the 0.1 patch before running the editor.

thanks, now i get the gibberish translation ... checking old posts
seems to only give gibberish when i prepatch and then editor patch. graphics work, just text don't (0.1 and 0.6)

I have a question since I am new to this patcher. How do I put the nds rom onto the Pff o matic? It says I need an ISO. Please reply thanks. (I'm talking about 0.1 patch)

I read and followed the instructions for the faq, and double-clicking ffta2_editor.exe isn't getting me anywhere. I've already extracted everything into a directory.

Ah, that's what the rom's supposed to be called. I don't think the story hs been translated.

Ah, that's what the rom's supposed to be called. I don't think the story hs been translated.

Just open editor.cfg in Notepad and change the directories manually. That's what I did.

Well, if anybody is intrested. My method for using the JUS Translation (seems to) works for the FFAT2 Translation
