i haven't asked nothing!
i just mentioned to you, since you want updated apps in channels, then simply inject the new .dol (update of whatever emu etc) channel wad.
using autoinjectuwad..... The utility comes with a readme on how to do it*
so you shouldn't have any problems, that was a thread i made from when i was using a strange version of autinjectuwad.
