Hey Everyone!

Some time ago, we've released our first Translation Patch for Fire Emblem If, the Menu Patch.
But today, we want to introduce our Chapter Patch [Part 1]!
This Patch contains the Tutorial, the first six Chapters and the next 6 Chapters of both standard-paths


We're working on the translation project since the JPN-Release of FE:If and finally we're able to share our progress with the Community!

If you have Questions, Suggestions or if you want to report bugs, errors or something else, use this thread for it, we'll answer as fast as we can!

Many of you asked how I can play it on my Nintendo 3DS.
I'll explain some methods now.
This Method works on every EUR/US/JAP Consoles with Firmware 9.2 or lower(Regionfree plugin needed)

Q: Do we have to pay for this Patch?
A No, this Patch is completely free You don't need to pay for it.

Q: Can I download a copy of the modified Game here?
A: No, we don't support piracy. We won't released patched roms or cias.



Q: Will we lose our savedata every time we repatch and reinstall the game?
A: If you reinstall the game, the first page of saves will be wiped.

The saves on the second and third pages (one page for each additional path you have),

however, are stored on your SD card and will be kept.



Q: Can I play it on Firmware 9.3 and above?
A: No, not at the moment. There's no exploit which allows to play patched roms.

I have Firmware 9.3 or higher, can I play the Translation Patch?!?!EINSELF?!

There's no way to play the Patch on Firmware 9.9 yet!
Like we've already said, Tubehax/Ironhax does not have Kernel-Access which is NECESSARY to run our patch.
There's no Exploit for Firmware 9.3 and higher which gains Kernel-Access.
YOU HAVE TO BE ON FIRMWARE 9.2 OR LOWER

Fire Emblem If - Fan Translation Patch (Rom Patcher Version) [v3.0]
Fire Emblem If - Invisible Kingsom (Translated Files)(to use the translated files for Invisible Kingdom, you need to patch the DLC itself, it won't work by using this files for the main-game).

Team If also plans to release several patches for Fire Emblem: Fates, following several controversial decisions made by Nintendo:

The currently existing patcher will be modified to work with Fire Emblem: Fates (all editions). We will release several patch packs (as possible). Here are the following packs:

- Amie restoration
- Japanese dub restoration
- Japanese name restoration
- Fan-Translation

Packs that need to be verified are legal:

- Official Japanese text pack
- Official NA text pack (for Japanese-edition users)

Any combination of them is possible. SciresM plans to make it so if you want it, just unzip the pack in the patcher, instructions to follow.

So, it's been a while since HANS was just released. Good news is that the patch can work with HANS really well. Bad news is that we're back to "WE NEED TRANSLATORS!" status. So yeah, the next update patch will be delayed once again since we don't have more dedicated translators.

The whole Fire Emblem amie (skinship) face touching, some risque-looking classes, etc.
We're aiming to finish this before the official release.

So yeah, we're in dire need of translators.

Unless it's released as a ROM of some kind, won't that require those who wish to play your translated version buy an imported Japanese 3DS as well as a Japanese version of the game?

There are instructions above on how to patch game as .3ds/.cia. However, this method is only for those that have an exploitable 3DS.

Now, thanks to Smealum for releasing *hax2.5 + HANS, more people can also use *hax 2.5 + HANS for our translation patch. I've used this method on my US New3DS 10.1 and the game worked with the English patch well.

i seriously wish the translators would secretly work on the non localized DQ games for the 3ds especially those with low chances e.g DQMJ1/2 and heck even DQ7 .. *sigh*

This such thing is true, but perhaps fan translations is more true to actual saying(?) of characters. I rember reading in 2ch board that Nintendo are censor sarya additional content picture? It become little silly. This is little upset that Nintendo west is censor things for releases. Perhaps I shall invest in JPN3DS! Hmm I miss Japan (o_ _)o

We could only wish But you never know what may be coming in the future.


As for translation help, I would not mind helping. But i currently do not have access to the game. Also im working on a project of my own right now.
