I'm assuming this isn't the retail release since the recent releases by Seed4ME apparently weren't retail.

EDIT - Looks like the NFO is claiming it's retail...

Same group appears to have released Dead Space and Fable II as well.

Does this mean it'll be much different from the retail one? I read somewhere that the saints row release was a review copy so achievements couldnt be unlocked??
After waiting for this for so long, I dont wanna be playing a crippled game!

Yeah i believe achievements can't be unlocked. But don't quote me on that, I'm not 100% sure.

Forgive my ignorance but is this good to grab? Note I could not care less about achievements but I would rather not be responsible for getting my friend banned from live (actually that would not be so bad but as I would be the one unbanning it.....).

Hey Fast, this may be a long shot but have you got a PC version of a site like the abgx one? Recently got into PC gaming and looking for a site similar to GBATemp but for PC releases...

Back on topic, anyone actually played the game yet? Opinions?

Seed4ME is great if your Xbox is already banned off of live (or if you don't give a hoot about live).

Otherwise, I'd stay away from it. Review copies could be encoded with code that differs from retail releases. This is quite prominent in the movie industry.

Notice how they sometimes catch the people that leak movies early (In America, at least)? It could be an extra injected pixel of pink at frame 23333 that would be a dead giveaway of where it came from. They, Microsoft and it's 3rd party devs/pubs, could work together and find all the Xbox 360s that have this game on it (be it through achievements or saved games) and that's it, banned.

I WILL, however, pre-download the files and hope that the retail is identical to the review (ss and all that). In which case, I will then eat my wordst.

I lack a 360, but I'm definitely grabbing the PC version when it's released.
..and then using it when I have a computer that can run it.

Wonder if it's really retail or not... the NFO says it's retail, while other sources tell it's "just" a review copy... We won't know until the official release, right?
