Wonder if it's really retail or not... the NFO says it's retail, while other sources tell it's "just" a review copy... We won't know until the official release, right?

I was looking through the forums on xbox-scene and came across this thread (http://forums.xbox-scene.com/index.php?sho...p;#entry4355335)hat seems to say that review copies can not play on normal (modded) 360's. They only work on dev kits and such. I have no way of knowing if this is actually true, or if not all review copies are made equal. can anyone confirm this to be true or false? also, has anyone tried this release yet (I have it, but am not able to try it until much later today).

Will there be anything missing from it that makes it into the retail version?

Did you unplug your live connection? I'm assuming that as soon as you plug it back in M$ will track the new fallout 3 achievements you've unlocked? I'm worried about a live ban.

My friends and I decided we have far too many games to start a new one but I thought I would drop by with an NFO (which I probably should have read in the first place). Note as I understand it sectors are read and transmitted at a later date so lack of a cable probably will not make any difference.

Yeeeah, here I am sitting bored needing a game to play, and you guys have Fallout 3 already! Could be GOTY for all we know :'(.
Is it just me, or does it feel like all the games have slipped back a month? All the games scheduled for October seem ages away still. Good news is Dead Space is supposed to be really good. Maybe I'll grab that if I can stomach it (no pause menu apparently, so no reprieve from the monstrous alien hordes, seriously evil stuff).

@Trolly I do not know about you but the PC side of things has had some fairly rich pickings these last few weeks (OK it is mainly the new STALKER for me).
The DS and wii are not doing too badly either.

I've never really liked STALKER unfortunately, Mercenaries 2 was pretty lame apparently (and I can't find it for less than £30 anywhere), and I bought and completed Warhead in 2 days.
So yeah, you're kinda right, but they're not rich enough aha. I'm just a fussy bastard tbh.

And the DS is good at the moment, true. Wii, I wouldn't say so. I might get Wario Land, but right now I'm not sure.

Anyway, I've been playing Prince of Persia - The Two Thrones recently, so I lie, I do have a game to play aha. Still, can't wait for all the games to come rolling in.

It looks very much like a complete game, unlike saints row 2 which is buggy as hell.

I was playing gta4 a week before the release and i'm still on live.
if you're so scared about live then you shouldnt play this game, but a 360 is only 150 euro now, and once you get banned you only need a new console.

I don't think Saint's Row 2 is THAT buggy, it lags sometimes, but not anoying, in cutscenes it is a bit buggy, but I think it's still playable.

Ya, check my signature lol. That Saint's Row 2 is definitely buggy, at least my copy is. Freezes alot and sometimes the sound just stops for no reason. So I'm just gonna wait for the retail release before I really dive into it. Fallout works just fine though

Mine doesn't freezes at all, just sometimes probs with sound, but it's very rare.
I guess I'm lucky
