Ah, I see. I might look into that, thanks for putting that on my radar

That's really interesting. The only (technical) roadblock, as stated from the Softpedia news, is that that the operating system can only detect one core. But it sounds like this is fixable.

Is there a legal way to obtain the Windows 10 ARM Edition ISO (as a consumer)? Because if there isn't, then I don't see this option being viable IMO.

From what I understand after looking into it, the standard installer should include the ARM version from now on. I'm basing that off the fact that I found quite a few downloads called "Windows 10 All in One (x86/x64/ARM)"

Might still be hard to port over, even if it does support ARM processors. Linux (usually) has most of the drivers already installed (save for proprietary graphics drivers and firmware blobs) and Windows comes with minimal drivers(usually just USB and Ethernet). Plus also Windows 10 is a much bigger/heavyweight OS than Linux is.

this. and if you have a windows 7, 8, or 8.1 key lying around, you can still apparently get windows 10 for free:

Is it safe to load any application or game on OS Linux or another on Nintendo Switch, without exploiting it? Or is it only reflected in the frame rate ?.

How would anyone know the answer to that at this point? I suspect not though based on experience and the fact that it's quite hard for software to give hardware failures.

they will not release anything but fake videos because there is nothing to release. fail0verflow is living up to their name. my best guess is that the developers left to work on more important things so they release these fake videos to save face. they may someday release something but first they need to learn to program which, in their defense, is a very tedious process and can take years to master.

The old Jedi mind trick. It isn’t going to work.

Doesn't sharing or at least offering to share condone piracy?

First off, Linux on Switch isn't that exciting due to the lack of ARM support for gaming. Secondly, you guys shouldn't get too hype about Win 10 ARM version. Win 10 ARM comes with some major caveats

Don't even think about playing the latest version of Dolphin or Citra on this OS. It boggles my mind why people just don't understand why Android is the most viable alternative OS for Switch. You already have media apps, productivity apps, well developed emulators, robust game library and cloud storage for most apps. It makes so much sense that it's not even funny anymore. Again, wake me up when we get Android. I applaud any team that gets Linux and Windows running on the Switch. In the grand scheme of knowing how to fully control our consoles, that's great. That said, when it comes to ease of use and having something that is "mass hacking enthusiast" friendly, none of that stuff means a hill of beans.
