All these Switch hacking groups are showing off their shit, but nobody's releasing anything yet. Proof's in the pudding. I'll get hyped when I see something released that won't be patched right before or right after release.

Kudos for them not selling out to the Nintendo Bug-hunting program though, so I guess there's that.
My best guess is that if they released something now? We'd get a really buggy version and people crying they bricked their systems... Or they're waiting until whatever exploits they have are patched? Dunno. I'm leaning toward the former.

Who said anything about driving? You said "long trip," so I assumed you were the passenger in this case
Well, you complained about high end devices being costly, so I assumed we were talking about a self suficient adult, kids don't care about prices, so of course the car would be yours and you'll have to drive it, but if you travel by bus or plane you can't plug a car charger.
But this is getting ridiculous, we should stop.

My point was that carring 2 devices and swapping between them isn't that big of a deal as many make it look like and a single powerful device also has the downside that the battery wont last forever.

I'd like to see video of this working with a dock. Maybe dual monitors (Switch screen and a monitor) with keyboard and mouse via the USB ports.

I'd like to see them using it as a desktop PC. (with the usb ports on the dock) Then switch it to tablet mode while it's running. Then back again. That would be cool.

It drives me up the wall that buses and planes don't have electrical outlets or car chargers at the very least. USB ports maybe? Anything would help. Sometimes you get lengthy layovers at an airport, use up a good chunk of battery, and then you have hardly any left for the flight.

Wait, they don't? I thought that they were beginning to adapt that to transportation. Mexico here has had that for their, uh, "budget" buses and up since, what, 3-4 years ago?
Thought that they were beginning to implement these into every transportation internationally. What gives?

My city only has 1 non-stop train that goes south for about 20 miles, and has wi-fi and outlets... That's it. None of our city buses or lightrail trains have wi-fi or power, and it fucking blows. USB batteries are bulky and not always practical.

With all the talks about wanting Android on the Switch here I'd rather go with Linux, because there's still this:

Problem solved. I'm sure someone will get us Linux even if f0f doesn't release anything.

You're right, why people want Android on the Switch if they can have a Windows PC, emulate the Switch with Yuzu, installing Linux on it, and installing an Android Emulator then !
And because on Android there are a lot of emulators, that way you can play GBA on Windows for example, that's super cool :D

You're thinking too small. On Android there's DosBox as well which could run Zsnes which might run the Super Gameboy.
Gameboy games on the Switch, yeah! Emulation is perfection.
