So what is up with the save issues on the cart? I'm running 1.72 and some games save, and some don't? Both have large names

GT Advance 3 - Pro Concept Racing (U).gba
- This one works fine just patched with the EZ Client loader

Super Mario Advance 2 - Super Mario World (UA).gba
- This one doesn't work with either the EZ Client loader or GBATA Patched.
- Only loads saves properly if 8.3 format (near as I can tell)
- The long file name actually DOES save correctly, but it doesn't load the save games. Verified by renaming existing rom and sav to 8.3, the sav file had data in it.

Bug in SMA2 only or should I just rename everything to 8.3 to be sure (laaaaaaame) ?

I posted this on the ezflash forums as well, but I have a hunch I'll get a better/quicker response here. They seem rather unpopulated.

I meant to reply over at sosuke's but most games work with normal naming but some roms like the SMA series and super robot games need 8:3.

Yah, I was finding that out the more I seached the sosuke forums, however Super Robot Taisen - Original Generation works fine, which is.... well, bizarre.

Oh well, one minor hiccup in what is otherwise a great card for the GBA... Now if I could just fix my R shoulder button, I might be able to play Drill Dozer effectively.

Nah, a hit gives them mad meth powers, but makes them more difficult to control.

Just found out he's doing alright, doing a lot of complaining too, rightfully so. Who wouldn't complain after having a seizure and being hospitalized?
