I am playing Pokemon TCG2, and want to use my GBA. I put the save in the SAVER folder, the game rom in the root and turn it on but it doesn't see it. I made sure they are both named exactly the same. Is there something I am missing or does it just not support that? Thanks.

The EZ-Flash Omega (Or the Everdrive GBA for that matter) does not play GB or GBC games natively, instead it uses an emulator called goomba. Savegames created for GBC games wil therefore be specifically for goomba (i.e. they will actually be goomba savegames that append the original GBC savegame somewhere).

For a more specific description of what a goomba save looks like, see https://www.lakora.us/gba/goomba/

Above link also contains a download link to "Goomba Save Manager" (https://github.com/libertyernie/goombasav/releases/tag/v20200530) which should allow you to take a goomba save file and inject a regular GB/GBC save file into it. Note that I have not tested, nor ever used this tool so I can't give any input on how to use it.
