Hacking ez 3 in1 expansion and gba games saves problem

this problem never happend before but when i play gba games the savesdont works... but when i put the sd in the pc the save is in the carpet of saves...but i put the sd in r4 and use the 3 in 1 tool and run the game the state save is overwriting....in the normal mode is the same the sram save is empty... the screen of the tool of save state i remember every time when i play game they shows me a text whit the current save state of gba game now when i play and turn off and then turn on the save state screen is empty...(the screen of save state is the rectangular on the middle of the down screen of ds)...whats is the problem?
