My 3.3u wii is soft modded with HBC, USB Loader GX, CIO rev 14 and NeoGamma 7.

I've installed Excitebike wii ware however when I press start I'm taken back to the wii main channel page.

I've tried searching the forums and found some explanations about wiiware games needing differents ios. Do I need to install different ios from wad manager 1.3?. If so which ones should I try? I'm not sure what is already on my wii.

Sorry if my question is posted in the wrong section. Thanks for any help or suggestions

I have the exact problem with so called 'region free' versions of this.

I'm running a PAL 3.2E, and I try to install the wad, it installs, and then every time when I go to open it, it reboots the Wii.

A friend of mine had the exact same problem with this game. Yesterday I updated his Wii from 3.4e to 4.1e using Waninkoko's updater, and now it works fine. I guess it needed one of the IOS'es installed during the update.

Thanks guys,

I found out its IOS55 that's needed for it, so if anyone has the same problem, that'll fix it.

Good game!

I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    nope
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    it is L+dpad down+ select

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
@Xdqwerty you can use a "spawner" function on any object.

Or when your player dies, you can say in code, if enemy exists, do nothing, but if enemy does not exist, then create enemy at certain spot. (This would be a pain tho for lots of emeies)

Easiest, simple way would be just restart scene, but player would restart from beginning.
