ROM Hack Every 3DS Save Editor

perhaps there is no way of extracting or editing the save? the game has been out for a while now, but still no one has announced anything yet.

Ah, that's right, it uses 9.6 encryption. savedatafiler on emunand ought to be able to do it though. I'll try it later and report back.

extraction works fine on 10.3, with 6 files:

Super bummed that there's a Story of Seasons editor but not one for A New Beginning!
ANB came out 2 years before SOS! Hopefully one will come out soon, before a new Harvest moon does

I'd like to see a save editor for Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon. It's pretty much the only way I could "hack" that game since I have 10.5 firmware (so can only use Browserhax, NOT Gateway). I can POSSIBLY use Spider, though.

I do have a Powersaves dongle, but that has very limited hacking ability (you're limited to what they give you).

hmm, but what can be done with the files?

I've been messing around with this game quite a bit. It seems that "Takumi" is the main save, and holds everything, from the player data to the created houses and unlocked furniture. The other files seem to be the pictures of the animal houses that you get to take when you finish a project.
The Takumi file seems to be heavily encrypted, everything is illegible, but the part where your custom patterns get saved (near the end). I also dumped the ROM, and found some interesting models there!
