Hacking Homebrew Error when trying to hack 3ds please help

whenever i click the go go button to try and get to the homebrew launcher it takes me back to the home screen with an error saying please save your data in any software currently in use then resatart the system ive got all the files in the correct place ive checked over and over please help

You're talking about the Download Play app? Can you get Rosalina Menu to show at all with the button combo?
Make sure you're sd card adapter is not "locked".

that's an error placing the downloaded files, delete all files(except 3ds, DCIM and the originals 3ds files) and replace the files you downloaded for the exploit(I think is a new 3ds, isn't it? I had the same error)
