Hacking Error Code 002-0102, Have I been banned?

Yeah I'll ring up and complain that I can connect again, shoddy service from their ban team. I expected a month atleast!

If it was intended ban, nintendo probably screw up thing up and got lots legit legit players angry.
Or nintendo technical team sucks too hard and were not able to fix it.
Of course nintendo will not admit their had technical issue they couldn't fix for weeks.

So if we want to stay protected and change our Public headers to Private ones - is there any way to keep the save file? Or will this get corrupted.

EDIT: Figured this out by collating from a number of sources.

You must do save conversion BEFORE injecting the new header
You will need save data filer.
I think this only works for Card1 games.

Steps as follows:

1. Plug your SD card into PC
2. Find the .sav file for the game you want to convert (in my case, MH4U was '0004000000126100.sav'
3. Rename the save file to '000400000FF40A00.sav'
4. Put SD back into DS and launch gateway mode, then save data filer
5. Press 'select' to bring up the multi rom menu and load the rom you want to convert the save for. DO NOT START THE GAME.
6. Open save data filer
7. By default, save data filer will be on 'CTR''
8. Press 'Y' then 'A' to backup and decrypt the save.
9. Power off the 3ds
10. Now perform the header injection process on your rom using Gateway ROM Patcher (tutorials available elsewhere)
11. POwer on the 3ds and press 'select' to load the rom menu. Load the new rom with the patched header. DO NOT START THE GAME YET
12. Open save data filer
13. This time, navigate to the 'sd' tab, here you'll see the save we exported earlier. Follow the prompts to import it.
14. Almost done, power off the 3ds and put the Sd card into your PC.
15. Find 000400000FF40A00.sav and rename it back to the title ID of your game, eg '0004000000126100.sav'
16. Put it back in your 3ds, mount and load the game. your save should load correctly.

SaveDataFiler is a program that you can use for saving games, I'm not sure how it works though, you'd have to search the forums for the thread that explains what to do.

B too many real custromwers are affected and got mixed up

people have had this error in the past mostly for Pokémon and some Mario kart, both games with cheaters. its impossible to say for sure if cheating is the cause but we do know Nintendo will ban cheaters and they say that repeat offenses can lead to permanent bans. so if youre cheating in some way or modifying saves it might be wise to stop or delete that shit.

How long did your ban last?
Some users had it for 15 days (the firsts who reported it), and other only for 5 days.

I checked the ban list. You were banned on February 6th.
15 days for you.

i have pokebank on my sysnad 9.2
i update to emunand just to extend the service

tried the bank on classic mode and it worked
returned to 9.2 and got this error
error code 006-1602

no , this had nothing with the DNS or ip , that was old error with the bank
and somehow , you can't run the bank on old frameware ( after the extend )

I don't understand what your error is. I've got two Pokemon save files and pokebank has never worked for me always says there's no save file.

glad to see that Nintendo have lifted the bans for people,

gonna keep using my public Header (mainly as I don't have a private one yet!). no point cutting a test half way through eh!

i will continue change the Card ID on my headers, different to massive public header used by template, although it isnt a private header, its more secure, and im sure that it isnt the last ban we will receive

Not sure how. Anything that has to log into your NNID should be technically using the eShop. And eShop only works on latest firmware. Any DLC that logs in, any service that uses eShop. If it worked on 9.5 and not 9.2 then you solved the issue.

i can also buy themes on 9.2
also , i just download the 1.05 update for smash bros 3DS from emunand 9.5 and it worked when i return to sysnand 9.2

Do you mean Pokémon Bank only works on the latest firmware? Because that's just not true. I was able to use it on 9.4 from the time 9.5 was released to the time Gateway's 3.0.4 update was released.

I wasn't. In fact I had to wait 2 months for my gateway to use it so I could update to 9.4 from 9.2. It kept giving me an error. Works fine since I could update to 9.4 and now 9.5 though.
