Looks like I need to learn how to make my template soon, and then going to use the gateway patcher to test things out.

So I ended up not going back online after my initial few days testing with ORAS. I still have not been banned. I'm afraid we'll likely never get this narrowed down enough to make it safe until the more technical minds can do deeper software and packet inspecting. So private headers, personally generated headers, and offline play are the safest bets from here on out, I guess.

Game safe, everyone.

Edit: Oh sorry, forgot to mention. Did try, for kicks, loading up a previously used Nintendo ID and it didn't take. Maybe I was doing something wrong but I am highly doubtful of being able to use the same NNID from a banned console on a new one outside of a WiiU.

Maybe the banwave never ceased *BUT* they are giving only temporary ban, that way if a banned console is sold to someone using only legit cart, after +5 or +15 days he could play online, and they still prevent 1) flashcarts users from playing online and 2) complains from second-hand buyers for life-banned consoles.
I think it could make sense...

I suppose that's possible... Although I have to imagine that after a certain point the ban will be permanent.

i continue playing with my offline public headers....and no more issues since yesterday....could be residual bans pending of first wave?

i will continue watching different forums, but at the moment, only 2 bans yesterday and commence the las friday(before unban all users)

I think it never ended.
It started this month and is only random, so it doesn't look like a massive ban wave.
It looks like a temporary ban (or maybe it's temporary short the first time, longer next time they catch you, permanent the 3rd time like on wii?)

It seems to affect mostly Pokémon players using public header.

...for cheat pokemon, u dun need a flashcard, u can do it with legit card and RAM injection, editing your saves with pokehax .....or using action replay

cheats its not the same as flashcards users....some day u will learn that
