So I saved a copy of mmm's boot.dol, renamed it mmm.dol and installed it, then went to Installed file and got the mmm's screen. However, my Wii remote (not plus) disconnected and I could not navigate the menu. Don't know what to do from here.

Unfortunately I don't have a GC controller.
About the IOS, it says IOS v30 on preloader and in MMM (in the Load Another IOS it says current IOS30 v1040)
I tried changing in mmmconfig txt the only line that appears from AutoLoadIOS=36 to AutoLoadIOS=30
But it didn't seem to change anything, I can still launch mmm but the wiimote disconnects

I tried 249 (which I could navigate with the Wiimote!) but going back from it and launching again gave me an Exception (DSI) Occurred / Stack Dump/ Code Dump error
Tried 250 but upon loading MMM my screen and Wiimote turned off and the Wii's blue light in the DVD reader turned blue and wouldn't go off.
Same blue light issue with 236
Should I try 249 again?
Or try hackmii's boot.elf (can it be renamed, because there's already a boot.elf file in the root of the SD)?
Would HackMii installer work without the IOS wads?

Try 249 again, stack dumps aren't that uncommon, you can also try 38 if 249 doesn't pan out

Hackmii installer may work without installing ios's first, but you'll probably want to reinstall it to use IOS58 later on (given you're on 3.2, I expect u do not have IOS58 currently installed). You can rename the elf/dol when saving it to sd root for priiloader, but if it's in the apps folder it must be named boot.elf/dol

Ok, so I tried again with 249 and it gave the blue light problem, same with 38. Then I tried hackmii and it gave a screen saying: "There is no usable of vulnerable IOS installed on this Wii
Please note that we will not use fakesigned IOSes for security reasons. Only unpatched versions will be used! "

After that I tried formatting my SD and copying everything off to it again, putting mmm.dol and installing it on preloader, launching it and now it gives me the stack dump error (I tried and it did five times in a row)
What else could I try? Could YAWMM install the wads?

You could try yawmm or even wii mod lite (WML has a bug in it that could crash after installing wads, I don't normally recommend it, but in this case the wads you are installing won't cause brick if it crashes after installing them). WML is like MMM, in that you can launch the hackmii installer after installing wads without needing to reinstall the file used by priiloader (i.e. Installing yawmm, then the hackmii installer). You could probably even install the homebrew filter homebrew as a file and use that to launch other apps (HBF is like an alternative to the HBC, without ahbprot/noiosreload functionality iirc). Probably no point in going down the HBF route though, it would just save you from installing priiloader files for every app you want to use, but that's just temporary anyway until we resolve your issue.

The most important ios to install in order to run the hackmii installer is IOS58. So if the wad manager route doesn't work you could also try this
https://wiibrew.org/wiki/IOS58_Installer

BTW, based on the info we're getting it sounds like this wii had DarkCorp or cioscorp installed, allowing it to play backup discs. This is generally not an ideal set up (as it can cause issues like the one you're getting with the hackmii installer). Don't fret, I'm confident we'll get this sorted out then we can overwrite DarkCorp with clean standard ios's

Hi, I managed to make (what I think is) progress! But a problem occurred
I used YAWMM (couldn't find Wii mod lite) to install all the wads, then installed and ran hackmi. With the IOS58 now installed hackmii let me install the HBC and Bootmii (as IOS). From the HBC I installed priiloader and ran a syscheck. Then opened bootmii to make a NAND backup but bootmii disconnected my Wiimote so I am stuck in the bootmii screen not being able to navigate it. At this point I don't know what to do. I'm a little scared about turning off my Wii, should I?

Edit: I googled it and found it only uses the front buttons on the Wii. Using those I chose the NAND backup option, it is now in the process of making a backup of the NAND!

Edit 2: bootmii finished making the backup. I went back to the HBC and then to the wii menu. This prompted me to configure the wii as if it was new (had to give it a name, choose my location, and configure the sensor bar placement). Everything seems to be working. So thank you very much XFlak for your help!!

Awesome, I'm very happy to hear that! So now you should drag and drop your syscheck.csv onto modmii.exe, and follow your custom guide. Your syscheck is all out of whack, this will solve that.

After that's done, consider checking out modmii's usbloader set up wizard to help you get started.

After you have the wii set up to your liking, you could make a new nand backup, that way if u ever need to restore it, it will return to an optimal state instead of what you got listed in your syscheck now

Edit: btw the directions on how to navigate bootmii would have also been listed in your custom ModMii guide

Hi, first of all I wanted to thank you again for all your help and for creating modmii !!!.
I dragged and dropped my syscheck.csv to modmii's exe, and followed the guide, seemed to have no problems with it!. Here is the new syscheck
