The driver, 70-year-old Jim McDaniel, told TV station WFAA that it was his third time using the truck’s “Wade Mode” in the sprawling reservoir — and that he had driven into the Atlantic Ocean successfully as well.

Minimum wage in the US hasn't increased in over 30 years, and a loaf of bread is $10 regardless.
The salary of minimum wage earners in a company is such a tiny fraction of the total business costs it's a rounding error. You could double it and still not have to raise end prices.
