It only works in XP mode under these conditions:

A. You have a windows 7 pro or ultimate (x64 only)
B. Your cpu and board must supports hardware virtualization and enabled. (Sony disables this feature in the bios.)

If you don't meet those 2 conditions, drivers don't work. Windows 7 Home has hardware virtualization permanently disabled.

Got both of 'em. Still, it doesn't get the games list.

I was just trying this on Windows 7 x64 and I can't even install the drivers either (picked the efasimple efasw.inf file like in xp but didn't do anything),however I got it working in Windows XP mode with the green light coming on as well, but the EFA simple 1.0 client doesn't detect the card still, even though XP mode does.

EDIT: ooh seems like g it a 2nd time made it work after detecting it again and using the ones located in the win dir

Hey dudes, just dug out my EFA as well. Does anyone know if you need the drivers installed to get it to charge? I assumed not and there is no light. I'm gonna try installing "EFA Client V2.83 DS" on Windows 7 64bit and see what happens. Oh shoot, it's not working and I only have Window 7 Home edition. So am I out of luck here? Oh wait I have XP on my laptop...

NICE, appears to be working on my laptop. Haven't used this thing in like 5 years, it still shows all the ROMs I had on it and stuff. I hope it supports Pokemon Fire Red/Leaf Green. Pokemon Emerald is on it now.

Yup Fire Red works. I just bought Soul Silver and I'm trying to figure a way to import the GBA monsters into it somehow, not sure if I can do it from the flashcart.
