Hacking Edit Text Inside Skyward Sword

Hey, all. I'd like to edit Skyward Sword in the same way that guy who changed Link's gender did in Wind Walker. Just interested in switching around some nouns and pronouns. Are there specific tools to do this? I'm on Mac, but I can probably winebottle some simpler utilities. Thanks!

BTW, I do have a softmodded wii and the ability to rip the rom.

    I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar
