Doombringer didn't officially stop it (he didn't update the front page, I think at least he would have done that and posted an official statement that the translation patch is dropped.)

But there is also Quantico working on a game text editor.
He didn't work on it a lot because doombringer said everything was done 100%, but when the first patch was released we saw it weren't 100% so Quantico is working on it again. It will help the translation process to have an editor.

I hope doombringer will tell us what he want to do right now regarding this topic.

No luck here.
I patched the ISO to PAL by regionfrii and testet it in cfg loader and wii flow with many diffrent settings. One time, I also got the bluescreen, witch could be seen posted some post above. But I couldn't reproduce it in any setting combination. Maybee a random Exception?

Can you give some more details, Dragoon93?
cIOS Base form 222/223, could you test it with the newest build of the cfg loader? If it wont work, which settings in detail you use in WiiFlow and whoch version?

I got it to work in USBLoader GX 2.2
Installed
cIOSX rev21d2x v6 - Base 56
and
Hermes cIOS Installer v5.1 MOD by Rodries - Everything Default

In USBLoader GX Game Load settings I used
Game IOS 222
002 Patch ON
Everything else Default

If you get gray screen with garbled or Japanese text, connect the nunchuk controller.

Currently testing some small patches

gamemessage00.ffx : Patched
Game loads fine, froze after I talked with lady in the norther most room in the beginning area.

I already did the test by patching files one by one.
I reported it on the previous page.

The first 2 files (alphabetically) are fine, and the 2 last are problematic.
file 3 (the .arc one) the game is booting but you can't load or create a new game.
file 4, nothing is booting.

I see. I didn't know quantico was working on it as well. I was merely tryin' to say that I won't let a few typos stop me from playing the game. However, I understand some 100% sections are still in Japanese.

I appreciate the work put into this.

Look up a few posts. I asked the same question and got an answer…

Well work and vacation is over for now so next week I'll have some time to get stuff done (hopefully). I'll try to update when enough is finished.

Looking forward to it.

Its been a while so I guess I should update. Trans is still getting worked on. ~800 entries are translated, currently one of the ffx files with tooons of dialogue is getting worked on so that takes a while. After that the pac file is left, that are about 2000 entries but tons of names and short things.

I had most of my pac tool done until I realized that writing everything back would be troublesome with my way of doing things. So I started over a few days ago and now have a more universal approach to all the different headers. Next thing I wanted to add is rewriting/recalculating the content pointers.

Also tried messing with the images, was able to insert mine but it messed up the background, but I only tried one time.

Thanks for the update, sounds like you are doing an quality job. By the way, when you post the ppf patch are you going to post in this thread or make your own?

It will be better to create another topic, so he can update the first post easily with latest news and patches.

I've read Wiimm's Wii IOS Patcher topic about creating and applying patches to wii games, and it's compatible with Windows/Linuw/Mac.
It's working with wbfs, cios, etc., no need to have the .iso to extract content with wiiscrubber and patch files one by one.
If you can use this to create the patch it will be better than using PPF`o`Matic+Wiiscruber, it will have less user's errors if there's only 1 patch instead of 4.
