"Yahtzee was pretty angry at the package that EA sent him today, but don't worry - that was the whole point."

Game publishers are known for sending "baskets of goodies" to the more influential game reviewers, in the hopes of getting favorable reviews for their latest game (I am not saying "bribery"). These "goodie bags" can be anything from exclusive prerelease copies of the game to baskets of scented soaps and candles to customized consoles to a weekend at an ultraluxury hotel, all expenses paid, where the most skillful of geisha will rub scented oils into their skin while injecting pure endorphins into their spinal column, with the possible (but by no means compulsory) option of playing the game on the 100'' diamond-encrusted flat screen, but let's not; why spoil the score experience by something as trivial as actually playing the game (I am still not saying "bribery")

Well, Yahtzee (of Zero Punctuation fame) got a package from EA a few days ago, but it turned out to be... something else.

Well, at least it wasn't soap. As someone noticed, "it's not borderline illegal, for a change."

If they sent anything like that to Square Enix, EA would get sued on the spot.
