Back in the day (I think it's on 11.0) I was using sx os to boot all my xci files off the sd card. I just tried to turn it on and since autoRCM is running fine and I can launch any exploit but after that it just blackscreens. Even if I try and choose boot original FW it still black screens. I just took another full FW backup and got my prodkeys and boot 0 and boot 1. Hekate works fine. SX OS menu works find but I can't seem to get to the actual Nintendo software no matter what I do. I downloaded the latest atmosphere and tried that too and it does the same thing. I see the Atomosphere logo and then it just black screens again.

I even tried rebuilding my MMC using the unbrick guide. Still no luck.

Another topic for the mods, why don't you have my email on file to reset my password for my original GBATemp account (kafluke)? I used to be very active on here, especially in the Wii U forums back in the day.

Holy cow! Welcome back, Kafluke! Happy new year to you. I hope everything is going all right for you now. I remember you said you went through tough times last time you were around. As for your technical problem with the Switch, try re-posting it in the noobs thread. Nothing shameful about posting there. We all start somewhere, and sometimes we forget what we knew after a long period of inactivity. Several very knowledgeable people there to answer that kind of question.

yep the noob paradise is the site, I remember something about SXOS and ChoiDujourNX corrupting the boot0 and boot1 so you need a guide which is hosted here on gbatemp to un brick the console.

may I assume you don't have a old sysnand backup?

Yes I have all the original backups.

Mods please move this thread to noobs paradise.

if you have a old backup restore it could be a good starting point.
Yeah, I guess I could do that but because of burnt fuses I'd then need to upgrade the firmware to at least 11.0. I've always done this with Choi but if I'm on an older firmware after restore with burnt fuses, won't I have to do this in RCM? Can I run an older firmware with CFW with burnt fuses?

Yeah I know, noob question but I've been out of the game for several years so cut me some slack.

if you load Atmosphère you can load an old firmware no matter which fuses you have burnt.
Atmosphere is currently going to a black screen after the atmosphere splash screen shows as well. Its as if Horizon is corrupted somehow. I don't want to turn off autoCRM for testing because my rails are jacked up and the mobo connectors for both rails are messed up too (I've taken apart and reassembled this switch wayyyy too many times when testing modchips and different components back in the day).

This is a test bed switch for modifications and testing different hardware and software mods. I just want to see if I can get it working. If not, no biggie. I have two other untouched, perfectly working switches.

I did have the same issue a long time ago.
Updating Atmosphere (and the primary payload) to the latest version usually solved the issue.
Also note that an old primary payload (payload.bin or something) might be present on the SD card. This might mess things.

I downloaded the latest payload and atmos files as of today on a fresh SD card with nothing else on the card. Still no go. Tried both fat32 and exfat. No dice.
