gbarunner2 not running pokemon?

when i run a pokemon (all other games work) game on gbarunner2, it displays the gba startup gif and gets all white, i have an r4i infinity new (it came with it, hard to get another in brazil tho) and everything else works

Have you checked the gbarunner2 compatibility list? For now, it's better to use gbarunner3, but it still has the drawback of not being able to play some Pokémon romhacks, especially those that use RTC since that feature hasn't been implemented yet.

its on my ds, no gbarunner3 . also i got what was stopping, i was playing a rom hack with a BUNCH of new pokémon, i got it working just playing the vanilla version. np with that

you will need either twilightmenu, or the frontend

because gbarunner3 will not have a file menu, so you need a frontend like this that you select the game in, and it passes it to gbarunner3 to run the game
