Just wondering if its worth it to buy the memory card and everything from shoptemp and pay the extra to have their flash service?

It's really quite easy to do it on your own. Just go to http://www.eng.supercard.sc, go to the download section, download the SCDS2 firmware, extract, put files on teh memory card. Done. And go buy a card from somewhere like Amazon, much cheaper!

It depends on how competent you are with flashcarts and computers, personally i'd only recommend the premium update + flashing service for the Acekard 2i. Of course, it's still nice to have it working out of the box if the extra $2 isn't an issue for you.
