Hi,
while doing some drawer cleanup, I have found a brand new DDTt still in its packaging. I did some research but couldn't find any OS I could download to it, the company website doesn't seem to be up anymore.

Is this thing good for garbage now?

Side question: which card would be the best today to purchase for a non techie who wants free ROM on his old DS ?

Thanks!

I still use mine on occasion - it's fine. The main issue with it would be that it doesn't work in DSi or 3DS consoles out of the box. Otherwise it's just another flashcart, without any notable details that set it apart from another.

The best card would be any card which supports RGF YSMenu and (if you have one) full DSi/3DS support.

Back when I was a teenager and had a DSlite I used a DSTT flashcard. It worked fairly well and it had a DLDI autopatch system that R4 lacked. Every major game release required a new firmware, tho, and they were releasing it.
