Let's make one thing clear, folks. His reasons for leaving had NOTHING to do with people heckling him for updates, fixes, additional features, etc. from the user base. This was a conflict with the homebrew dev authors. Since StoneCypher's name was dropped, I'll speak a bit further. StoneCypher makes me look like a choir boy despite what foul mood I may be in. He has indeed created a rift in the homebrew community and feels superior to all of his peers simply because he has accomplished more than most. I have personally witnessed his poor attitude and demeanor on more than several occasions.
From aspiring devs to fellow peers, such as DarkFader, he treats people like garbage and expects thanks for everyone for doing so. I don't care for StoneCypher one bit, and I can get a rat's ass as to his role, past or present, in the community. He is the equivalent of a recreational drug. He brought a sense of bliss at one time, but now he's just destroying everything around him. Perhaps his fellow "ops" will realize that the end of DSOrganize is a sign that StoneCypher is no longer a resource to keep in charge. He does more harm to the homebrew community than any previous efforts of contribution or aid. I detest him completely, and I may be biased in that he and I had a single argument one evening. Still, StoneCypher-haters are becoming greater in numbers daily.
So, if a member of the dev community is reading this, then listen the hell up, since you have chosen to remain on the fence or to stand by that jackass's side. Either you remove him from power and cut all ties, or expect DS homebrew to suffer more casualties. I don't solely blame StoneCypher for this. Rather, I blame everyone who could have stopped this from happening as well. It was pointless, unnecessary and there is no excuse for it..just like StoneCypher's existance.
